N.C. Utilities Commission: Fayetteville Public Works Commission Gains Approval for Solar Project

RALEIGH, North Carolina, May 14 -- The North Carolina Utilities Commission has granted Fayetteville Public Works Commission (FPWC) a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to construct a 4-megawatt alternating current (MWAC) solar photovoltaic facility in Cumberland County. The Commission also accepted FPWC's registration of the facility as a new clean energy facility.
