WASHINGTON, May 14 (TNSFR) -- The American Museum of Natural History in New York, intends to repatriate five unassociated funerary objects to a coalition of federally recognized Indian Tribes with ancestral ties to burial sites in Will County, Illinois.
The cultural items--identified as a pebble, a stone scraper, an arrowpoint, a glass ring, and a pottery sherd--were excavated between 1902 and 1913 by George Langford and gifted to the museum in 1919.
