WASHINGTON, May 13 (TNSFR) -- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has issued a proposed rule to rescind amendments made in 2022 and 2023 to its Rules of Practice for Adjudication Proceedings. The Bureau cited concerns about procedural inefficiencies and the unusual centralization of authority in the Director's office as key motivations for the proposed reversal.
