RALEIGH, North Carolina, May 13 -- The North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) has accepted the 2024 Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard (CEPS) compliance plans filed by Duke Energy Progress, LLC (DEP) and Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC (DEC). The decision, detailed in an order issued on May 12, 2025, confirms that the utilities have outlined how they will meet the state's clean energy targets for the next three years.
