WASHINGTON, May 12 (TNSFRinfo) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Office of the Assistant Secretary--Indian Affairs (OAS-IA) is proposing to renew its information collection for the Loan Guarantee, Insurance, and Interest Subsidy Program. This program aims to encourage private lending to individual Indians and Indian organizations by offering lenders loan guarantees or insurance to mitigate potential financial risks.
