WASHINGTON, May 10 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD 2025-09-06) affecting all Leonardo S.p.A. Model A119 and AW119 MKII helicopters, following reports of electrical system failures caused by ruptures in the starter-generator drive shafts.
