WASHINGTON, May 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued final approval for revisions to the Washington State Implementation Plan concerning air quality rules administered by the Southwest Clean Air Agency. Submitted by the Washington State Department of Ecology on June 22, 2023, the updates were intended to address deficiencies identified in the EPA's 2015 Startup, Shutdown, and Malfunction (SSM) SIP call and a 2022 finding of failure to submit.
