WASHINGTON, May 8 (TNSFR) -- The Autry Museum of the American West, located in Los Angeles, California, has completed an inventory of human remains and determined that they are culturally affiliated with the Berry Creek Rancheria of Maidu Indians of California.
The remains were collected by Caroline Gill in 1941 near Biggs, Butte County, in the Sacramento Valley and later gifted to the Southwest Museum in 1942, which is now part of the Autry Museum.
