RALEIGH, North Carolina, May 8 -- Timber Mill Solar, LLC, has filed an update with the North Carolina Utilities Commission regarding its approved 80 MW solar photovoltaic generating facility with 32 MW of battery storage planned for Jones County. According to a filing dated March 6, 2025, the company has shifted the proposed location of the battery energy storage system (BESS) and the 230 kV customer substation.
