WASHINGTON, May 8 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued an order addressing challenges faced by schools and libraries seeking E-Rate reimbursements when their service providers have gone out of business or failed to file necessary certification forms. The order, released May 7, 2025, grants twelve appeals and directs the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) to establish a new process to ensure these applicants can receive the funds they are due.
