WASHINGTON, May 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs has finalized the acquisition of approximately 14.993 acres of land near the City of Bartlesville, located in unincorporated Washington County, Oklahoma.
This land, known as the Bartlesville Site, is being placed in trust for the Cherokee Nation for gaming and other purposes. The acquisition was officially determined by the Assistant Secretary--Indian Affairs on January 15, 2025.
