WASHINGTON, May 2 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has reached a settlement with KJLA, LLC, the licensee of KJLA(TV) in Ventura, California, requiring the broadcaster to pay a civil penalty of $32,500. The action, outlined in a Consent Decree adopted and released by the FCC's Media Bureau on May 1, 2025, resolves an investigation into the station's failure to properly maintain its online public inspection file (OPIF).
