WASHINGTON, May 2 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a Consent Decree against Rancho Palos Verdes Broadcasters, Inc., the licensee of KXLA(TV) in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, imposing a civil penalty of $42,500. The action, detailed in an order released May 1, 2025, resolves issues stemming from the review of the station's license renewal, transfer of control, and license to cover applications.
