FERC Begins Relicensing Process for Big Wood Canal Company Magic Dam Hydroelectric Project in Idaho

WASHINGTON, May 2 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has received and posted for public inspection a new major license application filed by Big Wood Canal Company for the Magic Dam Hydroelectric Project, located on the Big Wood River in Blaine and Camas Counties, Idaho.

The project, situated on federal land administered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, includes a 3,100-foot-long dam, a reservoir of 3,740 acres, an intake tower, outlet conduit, penstock, power . . .
