WASHINGTON, May 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has announced the institution of antidumping and countervailing duty investigations into the import of silicon metal from Angola, Australia, Laos, Norway, and Thailand. The investigations, identified under Investigation Nos. 701-TA-760-763 and 731-TA-1743-1746, were initiated following a petition filed on April 24, 2025, by Ferroglobe USA, Inc. of Beverly, Ohio, and Mississippi Silicon LLC of Burnsville, Mississippi.
