Kentucky PSC Approves EKPC Request for Up to $450 Million in Debt Financing

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 30 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has authorized East Kentucky Power Cooperative, Inc. (EKPC) to issue up to $450 million in secured or unsecured private placement or bank/financial institution debt. The order, issued April 30, 2025, grants EKPC's application filed on March 5, 2025, seeking financial flexibility for general purposes and capital projects.
