FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 30 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued an order granting Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to bid on an electric transmission and distribution franchise established by the city of Rockport. The order, dated April 30, 2025, follows KU's application filed on April 24, 2025, seeking authorization to participate in the bidding process.
