N.Y. PSC Orders Optical Communications Group to Explain Failure to Notify Customers

ALBANY, New York, April 30 -- The New York State Public Service Commission (NYPSC) has directed Optical Communications Group, Inc. (OCG) to "Show Cause" as to why enforcement or penalty action should not be taken against them. The order, issued on April 24, 2025, and effective April 28, 2025, is due to OCG's apparent failure to notify its customers of a potential loss of service, as previously directed by the Commission.
