WASHINGTON, April 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a request from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to redesignate the Allegheny County area from nonattainment to attainment for the 2010 1-hour primary sulfur dioxide (SO2) national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS).
