FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 22 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has denied a request from Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) (jointly LG&E/KU) for permission to use an abbreviated newspaper notice regarding their upcoming applications for electric and gas rate adjustments.
