WASHINGTON, April 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Fish and Wildlife Service, through its Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge Complex, has announced the repatriation of human remains and associated funerary objects to the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.

The remains and artifacts, including 166 trade beads, were originally excavated in 1984 by Historical Research Associates, Inc. from the Wapato Portage . . .
