Fish & Wildlife Service to Repatriate Cultural Items to Native Tribes to Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community

WASHINGTON, April 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge Complex, has announced the repatriation of 98 cultural items, including stone anchors, metal buttons, glass trade beads, and projectile points.

These items, which were collected from a burial site on a family farm in Clark County, Washington, have been determined to be unassociated funerary objects with cultural ties to Native American tribes. The item . . .
