FCC Approves Sale of Eureka TV Stations, Citing Public Interest

WASHINGTON, April 12 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the transfer of licenses for two television stations in Eureka, California, from Imagicomm Eureka, LLC to Marquee Broadcasting West, Inc. The decision, outlined in a Memorandum Opinion and Order released by the FCC's Media Bureau, allows Marquee to acquire full power television station KIEM-TV (NBC) and low power television station KVIQ-LD (CBS).
