FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 11 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has denied a motion by Kentucky Power Company seeking clarification and amendment of a previous order regarding its Purchase Power Adjustment (P.P.A.) rates. In an order issued Thursday, the PSC rejected Kentucky Power's request to immediately recover $1,029,116 in under-recovered costs.
