Kentucky PSC Grants Coal Association Intervention in Utility Plant Upgrade Case

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 11 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted the Kentucky Coal Association's (KCA) motion for full intervention in the case concerning the application by Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) and Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) for certificates of public convenience and necessity and site compatibility certificates. Despite the KCA's motion being filed late, the PSC found sufficient cause to allow their participation.
