Adams Executive Order will make Rikers Island a Deportation Hub, says LatinoJustice

Mayor Eric Adams signed an executive order on Tuesday night permitting United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Rikers Island for the purpose of seeking people who are to be deported. This is the first time in a decade since ICE has been allowed at Rikers.
