WASHINGTON, April 8 -- Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, issued the following statement, which was published in the Congressional Record on April 7, 2025:

Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the commissioning of the USS Iowa, the Navy's newest Virginia-class, nuclear-powered, fast-attack submarine.
