Kentucky PSC Authorizes LG&E to Bid on West Point Utility Franchise

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 3 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN), authorizing the utility to bid on a franchise offered by the city of West Point, Kentucky, for electric and natural gas transmission and distribution services. The decision addresses LG&E's application to participate in the city's franchise bidding process.
