WASHINGTON, April 2 (TNSFR) -- Beloit College Logan Museum of Anthropology, Wisconsin, has announced its intention to repatriate a significant cultural artifact under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).

The item, an undrilled slate gorget, has been determined to be an unassociated funerary object with cultural affiliations to the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin, the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, and the Stockbridge Munsee Community, Wisconsin. T . . .
