FRANKFORT, Kentucky, April 1 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved Kentucky Power Company's application to establish a regulatory asset for extraordinary expenses incurred during severe storms on January 5 and February 15, 2025. The decision, outlined in an order issued on March 31, 2025, allows Kentucky Power to defer certain operational and maintenance (O&M) costs related to storm recovery.
