Kentucky PSC Grants Industrial Group Intervention in Utility Generation Case

FRANKFORT, Kentucky, March 29 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted the Kentucky Industrial Utility Customers, Inc. (KIUC) full intervention status in a case involving Kentucky Utilities Company (KU) and Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E). The decision, outlined in Case No. 2025-00045, allows KIUC to participate fully in proceedings concerning the utilities' application for certificates of public convenience and necessity for new generation sources.
