WASHINGTON, March 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has announced that Promega Corporation, a biotechnology company based in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, has applied for registration as a bulk manufacturer of Schedule I controlled substances, specifically psilocybin and psilocyn. The application was officially published in the Federal Register on March 27, 2025, and is now open for public comment.
