FCC Seeks Comment on Oregon City's Bid to Use Business Radio Channel for Public Safety

WASHINGTON, March 21 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a public notice seeking comments on an application and waiver request filed by the City of Hubbard, Oregon, seeking to use a VHF radio channel from the Industrial/Business (I/B) Pool for its public safety communications. The FCC's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau is reviewing the city's request to add a channel from the I/B pool to its existing digital trunking system.
