University of Tennessee to Repatriate Native American Remains From Luthi Site in Kansas

WASHINGTON, March 20 (TNSFR) -- The University of Tennessee, Department of Anthropology, Knoxville, has completed an inventory of human remains under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) and determined their cultural affiliation with multiple Native American Tribes. The remains, representing at least four individuals, were originally removed from the Luthi site in Clay County, Kansas, and are now set for repatriation.
