WASHINGTON, March 19 (TNSFR) -- The Museum of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, has announced plans to return the human remains of two individuals to the Shawnee Tribe, following a determination of cultural affiliation under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
The remains, which were originally acquired by Andrew Taylor Still in the late 19th century, were used in the early development of osteopathy and are believed to have been obtained . . .
