Maine PUC Approves CMP's $6.4M Transmission Line Rebuild for Reliability and Renewables

HALLOWELL, Maine, March 19 -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has approved Central Maine Power Company's (CMP) request to rebuild a 1.37-mile, 34.5 kilovolt (kV) transmission line between Sanford 115 Substation and South Sanford Substation. The project, estimated to cost $6.438 million, aims to improve reliability and support the interconnection of renewable energy projects in the region.
