FCC Approves Gray Television Acquisition of KXLT-TV, Grants "Failing Station" Waiver

WASHINGTON, March 12 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved the assignment of the license for television station KXLT-TV in Rochester, Minnesota, from SagamoreHill of Minnesota Licenses, LLC to Gray Television Licensee, LLC. The FCC also granted a waiver of the Local Television Ownership Rule, allowing Gray to own both KXLT-TV and KTTC(TV) in the same market, based on KXLT-TV's "failing station" status.
