FAA Issues Final Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A300-600 Series Aircraft

WASHINGTON, March 11 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a final airworthiness directive (AD) mandating new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations for certain Airbus A300-600 series airplanes.

This directive requires operators to update their maintenance or inspection programs in accordance with a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) directive. The action is aimed at mitigating risks associated with fatigue cracking, damage, and corrosion . . .
