FRANKFORT, Kentucky, March 3 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to reopen Case No. 2021-00004, concerning Kentucky Power Company's (Kentucky Power) environmental projects at the Mitchell Generating Station. This decision follows a motion by Kentucky Power to discuss its plans to continue operating the Mitchell Plant beyond December 31, 2028.
