WASHINGTON, March 6 (TNSFR) -- Farmrail System, Inc. has received federal approval to extend its control over Land Rush Rail Corporation, a soon-to-be-designated Class III railroad. The Surface Transportation Board (STB) confirmed that the transaction qualifies for an exemption under federal regulations, allowing System to oversee LRRC without requiring prior approval under 49 U.S.C. 11323.
