FAA Further Delays Airspace Rule to Allow Additional Flight Inspections

WASHINGTON, March 5 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced a second delay in the effective date of its final rule amending multiple Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal Airways and revoking one airway. Initially published in December 2024, the rule was set to take effect on February 20, 2025, but was delayed to April 17, 2025, due to the failure of two Standard Terminal Arrival Route (STAR) procedures during flight inspections.
