NYPSC Revokes Operating Certificates of 157 Telecommunications Companies

ALBANY, New York, March 3 -- The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has revoked the Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCNs) and cancelled associated tariffs for 157 telecommunications companies that failed to comply with state regulations. The action, announced in a notice issued February 28, 2025, follows a January 28th order giving non-compliant companies until February 27th to file required Telecommunications Carrier Critical Information (TCCI) forms.
