FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Feb. 25 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved Louisville Gas and Electric Company's (LG&E) request to recover costs associated with the retirement of Mill Creek Unit 1 (MC1) through its Retired Asset Recovery Rider (Rider RAR). The decision, issued on October 4, 2024, allows LG&E to begin recouping these costs from customers starting in January 2025.
