TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 20 -- The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) has issued a suspension order delaying the effective date of a proposed change by Southern Pioneer Electric Company regarding customer payment options. Southern Pioneer Electric filed an application on February 3, 2025, requesting a limited waiver to disallow credit card payments for its sub-transmission and transmission service customer class. The company also requested expedited approval from the KCC within 60 days.
