N.Y. PSC Approves Construction Plan for Empire Offshore Wind Transmission Line

ALBANY, New York, Feb. 19 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved the Environmental Management and Construction Plan (EM&CP) for Part 1C of the Empire Offshore Wind project. This approval allows Empire Offshore Wind LLC to proceed with the construction of a portion of the transmission lines that will connect the Empire Wind 1 offshore wind farm to the mainland electric grid in Brooklyn.
