N.Y. PSC Denies NRG Energy's Rehearing Petition on Customer Data Sharing in Community Choice Aggregation Programs

ALBANY, New York, Feb. 15 -- The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has denied a petition for rehearing filed by NRG Energy, Inc. and its affiliates concerning customer data sharing rules within Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) programs. The decision, issued February 14, 2025, upholds the PSC's existing regulations regarding the transfer of customer account numbers between Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) and CCA administrators.
