N.Y. PSC: N.Y. Power Authority Seeks Priority Designation for $5.2 Billion Clean Path Transmission Project

ALBANY, New York, Feb. 15 -- The New York Power Authority (NYPA) has petitioned the Public Service Commission (PSC) to designate its proposed "Clean Path Transmission Project" as a "Priority Transmission Project" (PTP). The $5.2 billion project aims to bolster transmission capacity and deliver upstate renewable energy to downstate New York, particularly New York City. The PSC has issued a notice soliciting public comments on the petition by April 21, 2025.
