WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has initiated a rulemaking proceeding to consider reallocating a television broadcast channel in New Mexico. In a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), released February 11, 2025, the FCC's Media Bureau is seeking public comment on a proposal to move channel 12 from Silver City to Truth or Consequences.
