CHICAGO, Illinois, Feb. 8 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois issued the following news release on Feb. 7, 2025:
A defendant has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for soliciting a minor to engage in commercial sex and lying to the FBI about social media postings supportive of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
HARDY LEE BROWNER, 37, of Chicago, pleaded guilty in 2023 to one count of making a materially false state . . .
