MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, Feb. 8 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota issued the following news release:
Sharon Denise Ross, 54, of Willernie, Minnesota, has been sentenced to 43 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for her role in a $250 million fraud scheme that exploited a federally funded child nutrition program during the COVID-19 pandemic, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick. Ross was also ordered to pay restit . . .
